Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living. Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens. We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.

Position:
Inclusion and SEND Manager
Based: Key College, Derby
Salary: £27,315 - £31065 pro rata (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 21hrs per week
Do you have a passion for supporting learners with SEND. Do you think you can champion learners and young people within Key College and the wider community to support our young people to reach their potential. Do you have experience working with young people with SEND and do you feel you could make a difference to these learners with a small training provider. Do you have skills and Knowledge that can support us to provide a more inclusive learning environment for our learners and to challenge us on our delivery and inclusion. If you have a passion for young people with the skills, knowledge and experience to support enhance our delivery we want to hear from you.

We are seeking a creative thinker with a ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to influence others to use our services.
This fast-paced and varied role gives an individual the chance to make a real impact on our success. This role will be sales focussed working towards set KPI’s, building effective relationships with our customers and maximising our brand recognition.
Requirements:
Ideally you will have the following: -
* Appropriate qualification such as AET, PGCE, TAQA.
* Knowledge and understanding of educational legislation.
* Working knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent.
A driving license and use of own car is essential as there will be an expectation to work across numerous sites.

The appointment is subject to YMCA Derbyshire receiving two satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a six-month probationary period.
