We are working with a growing independent firm of Accountants, assisting with their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their existing team in Cleckheaton.
This firm offer a range of services to their clients from audit, accounts, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and more!
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Managing your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients.
* Preparation of management accounts.
* Supporting clients with making tax digital (MTD).
* Preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Preparation of personal/corporate tax returns when required.
To qualify for this Accounts Assistant role, ideally you will meet the following:
* AAT level 3 or 4 qualified or qualified by experience.
* 2+ years’ Practice experience having worked as an Accounts Assistant or similar, in an accountancy firm.
* Experience using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext and Microsoft software would be advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, feeling comfortable speaking with clients both in person and virtually.

* Salary from £26,000 to £29,000
