About the role
The Global CAPEX and Portfolio Lead oversees Reckitt's capital expenditure, ensuring adherence to creation and execution processes, prioritization, and group spending. The role ensures governance across geographies and organizational levels, from project conception through post-investment review.
Responsibilities
1. CAPEX Project Management
o Create and deploy a global project management framework to ensure capital projects meet business objectives.
o Continuously improve project management standards based on lessons learned.
o Maintain a knowledge-sharing database.
2. Governance and Oversight
o Build processes to ensure project readiness before approval.
o Consolidate project status reporting and highlight achievements and challenges.
o Support monitoring and corrective actions for project performance.
3. Global CAPEX Portfolio
o Manage processes for global CAPEX portfolio governance, benchmarking, and project prioritization.
4. Budget and Forecasting
o Establish annual and forecasted CAPEX budgets across regions and sites.
o Analyze variances and identify opportunities or issues.
o Collaborate with finance for accurate budgeting and reporting.
5. Global Collaboration
o Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and leadership teams across regions for seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
6. Process Digitalization
o Identify and implement digital tools to enhance portfolio and project management.
Experience and Skills
Essential: Bachelor's degree in engineering, experience in engineering and project management within the CPG industry, strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Desirable: Experience in Project Portfolio Management, international project experience, and CAPEX-related roles in a CPG company.
