Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an EC&I Designers for a permanent position in Warrington location. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Construction or highly regulated industry.
Role
As an EC&I – Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer you will be supporting the Lead and Senior Engineers, you are responsible for the production of the EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM or EPC projects for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer you will be responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality EC&I design drawings in line with project scope and industry standards. Participate in internal and external design reviews as required.
You will be reporting to the Senior EC&I Engineer, you are responsible for producing EC&I design deliverables within single or multi-discipline engineering EPC projects. Collaborate closely with the Senior EC&I Engineer to ensure design drawings are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining alignment with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process, and Automation.
You will produce quality EC&I design drawings within time and budget. Proven capability to understand actionable items from a Deliverable List and consistently deliver output drawings that meet established standards and quality expectations.
Qualification
* EC&I Designers will have upto 3 years of experience as an EC&I Designer, in single / multi-discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company.
* Fair grasp of EC&I disciplines, with the ability to produce quality EC&I drawings.
* Engineering Apprenticeship or Equivalent (minimum)
* Using software packages including AutoCAD daily to complete design drawings.
* Experience with Plant 3D or Revit (preferred)
* Can produce but not limited to Block Cable Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Layout Diagrams, Instrument Hook-up Diagrams, Cable routing drawings.
