Key responsibilities as a Design and Technology Teacher include:
• Delivering high-quality lessons in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspiring students to develop their technical skills, creativity, and confidence through engaging, hands-on activities
• Planning, marking, and assessing work in line with curriculum objectives and school policy
• Working collaboratively with colleagues in the DT department to share resources and best practice
To be successful in this Design and Technology Teacher role, you must:
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Design and Technology in a UK secondary school setting
• Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to the values and ethos of the school
• Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
