Care First Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and reputable children s services provider based in Southampton. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to take the lead in managing one of their high-quality children s homes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Ofsted Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up to join a child-focused organisation that truly invests in its people and services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Leading the daily operations of the children s home in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children s Homes Regulations 2015.
* Ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
* Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people at all times.
* Driving continuous improvement and quality assurance throughout the service.
* Managing staffing levels, rotas, and team performance to ensure effective service delivery.
* Leading on recruitment, staff training, supervision, and development.
* Overseeing budgets and financial planning for the home.
* Preparing for and responding to Ofsted inspections to maintain a high-quality service.
You Will Have:
* Previous experience working in children s residential settings.
* Proven leadership and management skills, ideally in an Ofsted-regulated service.
* Strong people skills and the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and regulatory frameworks.
* Good business acumen with experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or working towards it).
