Geo-Environmental Consultant / Geotechnical Engineer / Civil Engineer / Design Manager
Opportunity to join one of the UK's most successful building & civils main contractors.

Role:
As part of a growing in house geotechnical team for this main contractor you will provide support on Geotechnical problems and Earthworks.
You will liaise with external design consultants and provide advice to the site teams and when applicable provide value engineering solutions.
Please note this is not a hands on designer role, more a design management role. Happy to consider applications from geotechnical design engineers or Geo-environmental consultants wanting to transfer experience over to main contractor side or someone already with main contractor employment, alternatively perhaps a Design Manager working for a Piling subcontractor or similar.

My client is a leading building & civil engineeringmain contractor, with a busy and fast growing workload.
This employer is looking to strengthen their team further with the appointment of a Geotechnical Advisor / Managerto workon a range of Building & Civils Sectorprojects.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this Geotechnical Design Managerrole you must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Building and / or Civil EngineeringSector.
- Previous employment as a Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineer
-Strong background in Foundation Design/Geotechnics.
- Ideally previous Main Contractor employment but not essential. Candidates will also be considered from a Design Engineering Consultancy or Sub-contractor background.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
LOCATION:
The role will be a mix of remote working (2 -3 days) and site visits (Sites can be nationwide, so flexibility to travel as a visiting role is required).
Occasional (circa once every 2 weeks) travel to HQ in Northamptonshire.
Whilst being based more centrally, midlands candidates would be ideal, however given the flexible remote working they are also flexibile to consider candidates based from other locations nationwide as long as they are flexible to travel.
REMUNERATION:
The successful Geotechnical DesignManager will receive:
*£35,000 - £55,000 Basic (Dependant on experience)
*Car Allowance
*Pension (very competitive).
*Bonus
