Overview
Student Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visiting — fixed-term, one-year full-time contract for a BSc/PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) course at the University of Greater Manchester. The placement is across HMR with a balanced mix of academic study and practical experience, funded opportunity subject to Health Education England availability.
The programme leads to registration on Part 3 of the NMC register and eligibility to apply for a post as a Health Visitor.

* Salary: Band 5
This is a fully-funded training opportunity, with 50% academic study and 50% practical placements across HMR. Applicants must demonstrate how they meet the attainment section of the person specification. An academic supervisor and assessor will be allocated to support learning outcomes and practice.
Responsibilities include developing skills to deliver the Healthy Child Programme in a variety of community settings, including Children’s Centres and the family home, as part of a skill mix team.
Funding and Eligibility
This opportunity is fully funded, subject to funding availability from Health Education England. Successful participants will qualify as registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (Health Visitors).
