A leading international law firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Executive to support its market-leading Commodities practice. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing marketing and business development team within a global organisation known for its sector expertise and innovative approach to client service.
You will work closely with the Marketing & Business Development Manager and wider practice teams to support a broad range of business development and marketing initiatives. The role involves both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the preparation, coordination, and delivery of pitches, panels, and capability statements.
* Assist in the follow-up of business development opportunities and maintain accurate pipeline reporting.
* Help plan and execute client engagement and profile-raising campaigns.
* Identify opportunities to promote the group’s expertise across internal and external channels.
* Contribute to legal directory and award submissions, working closely with fee earners and support staff.
* Coordinate the approval and distribution of thought leadership content and client briefings.
* Assist with organising and promoting webinars and client events (occasional out-of-hours support may be required).
* Maintain and update marketing collateral, ensuring consistency across platforms.
* Support on sponsorships, conferences, and other external marketing opportunities.
* Contribute to wider departmental projects and provide cover for team members where necessary.
About You
* Educated to degree level or equivalent (CIM) preferred.
* At least one year’s experience in a marketing or business development role within professional services (legal experience advantageous).
* Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM or content management systems is an advantage.
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Proactive and resourceful with a collaborative mindset.
