Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role for a Baker located in Whitley Bay. The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery products. Day-to-day tasks will include measuring and mixing ingredients, monitoring oven temperatures, and ensuring baked goods meet quality standards.
Keeping track on stock and ordering. The Baker will also maintain a clean and organized work environment. You should be able to start working on a Saturday at 3am and will finish your shift at 11am.
The working week would look like this:
* Tue to Fri : 4am to 12pm
* Sat: 3am to 11am
Qualifications
* Experience in Bakery, Baking, and Food Preparation
* Ability to bake and prepare a variety of products including Pastries and Bread
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Strong attention to detail and precision in following recipes
* Ability to work early mornings and weekends
* Excellent organizational skills
* Experience in a commercial bakery setting is a plus
