Overview
You will ensure the building, communal areas and grounds are kept to high standards of cleanliness and act as a face for the development engaging with the residents to ensure exceptional customer service at all times. This role will be working 20 hours - flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning all communal areas thoroughly daily, including polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and sparkle cleans of apartments for move-ins.
* Ensure lifts are kept clean and panels streak-free.
* Maintain an open, friendly and helpful approach with all requests, with emphasis on servicing the resident.
* Empty external ashtrays into non-combustible containers, thoroughly clean, and replace to their original location.
* Provide guidance and assistance to residents in a willing and friendly manner; ensure the highest levels of customer care and service at all times.
* Immediately report any H&S issues to your line manager.
* Complete the daily cleaning check lists in a timely manner.
* Keep cleaning materials up to date and neatly organized.
* Maintain a clean and smart appearance at all times.
* Provide utility readings as required by residents.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner within hospitality or large-scale residential property.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and on your own initiative, yet follow instructions and rules as required.
* High standards in cleanliness and customer service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong time management.
* Able to speak Welsh (desirable).
* Rent Smart Wales qualification – if not qualified, we will support you through this qualification within your first 3 months with us.
