We’re partnering with a leading engineering consultancy delivering some of the UK’s most significant water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth across major frameworks, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary schemes.


🔧 The Role

As Senior Design Manager, you’ll act as the technical lead across a portfolio of high‑value water sector projects—driving safe, compliant, and efficient design delivery while working closely with internal teams and external partners.


✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary design teams

• Manage technical delivery across water & wastewater projects

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements

• Oversee design risk, quality assurance, and change control

• Support project planning, resourcing, and programme delivery

• Act as a key stakeholder interface throughout the project lifecycle


👤 About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager / Design Manager in the water sector

• Strong technical knowledge of water & wastewater infrastructure

• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary engineering teams

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
