We are seeking a passionate Devops Engineer to join our Technology Team. This role offers a rewarding career path, emphasizing innovation and positive change in our industry.
Responsibilities:
* Review and understand ISS enterprise IT and application architectures, product management, and delivery frameworks.
* Implement and scale AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Terraform.
* Design, configure, and support development, testing, release, and update processes for DevOps operations.
* Apply best practices across environments and CI/CD processes.
* Configure DevOps tools and monitoring systems for automation and observability.
* Implement Site Reliability Engineering practices, including performance and availability monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
* Drive continuous improvement through CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
* Manage incidents, problems, changes, and perform root cause analysis.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders.
* Mentor and guide team members.
* Monitor and analyze user experience and product KPIs.
* Support flexible working arrangements, including out-of-hours support if necessary.
Qualifications:
* A professional AWS Solutions Architect certification.
* Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, using tools like Jira and Confluence.
* Expertise with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket/GitHub, SonarQube, CAST, TeamCity, Jenkins.
* Proficiency with telemetry and observability platforms like ELK stack, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch.
* Knowledge of database technologies, preferably RDS Postgres SQL.
* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
* Proficiency in XML, JSON, YAML.
* Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or AWS MQ.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as C, .NET, NodeJS, Web API.
* Scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
* Understanding of SDLC and ITIL processes is beneficial.
Experience:
* At least 1 year of experience in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps phases.
* Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet.
* Proficiency in coding and scripting solutions such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.
* Experience in building VMs and containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
* Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
