The opportunity:
To work flexibly to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-paced department working alongside a professional and experienced team.
As a Radiology Assistant, you will:
1. Support patients undergoing investigations
2. Work alongside Consultant radiologists
3. Assist with booking appointments
4. Be part of our team
As a Radiology Assistant, you will need:
5. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting and/or a Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare is required, and your personal skills, perhaps gained in a customer-facing role, are equally important to us
6. You will also assist with administrative tasks, so a good level of IT literacy is necessary
7. Excellent communication skills
8. The ability to work under pressure
9. Demonstrate compassion and understanding
10. Be a team player
11. Basic IT skills

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 46 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women’s Health and Spinal surgery. The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 46 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities, 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
