Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge, and surrounding areas to appoint committed, driven, and engaging individuals to become Cover Supervisors/Unqualified Supply Teachers. This role is perfect if you want to work with young people but do not have the qualifications to be a teacher. If you are considering teaching as a career, this role will give you vital classroom leadership experience.

* Pay: Very competitive (£95 - 130 a day depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and support students in their learning, following the school's policies and curriculum guidelines.
* Maintain discipline and manage behavior, fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain continuity in students' education and support their progress.
* Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of students at all times, following school policies and procedures.
* Engage in professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
* Resilience and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
