Here at Long-Term Teachers we work closely with a fabulous 1 form entry Primary School in the heart of Weston-Super-Mare. They are currently seeking a strong LSA to work alongside a Reception pupil who has medical care and Special Educational Needs.

The Role
This position is a full-time role starting after the Easter Holidays. You will be expected to work with the Reception Class Teacher to support the learning of a pupil with high medical and learning needs.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled candidate who has prior experience working 1 to 1 with SEND within a school environment or directly in a Special Educational Needs School.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone they can provide training to, but someone that can get stuck in and work independently.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers to support individual children.
* Assess children’s development and report back to the teacher.
* Deliver interventions based on core subjects.
* Adapt activities to meet the needs of the children in your class.
* Have enthusiasm to motivate and inspire all pupils to engage in learning
