Job Opportunity: Temporary Site Engineer – Norwich (McDonald’s New Build Project)
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a new McDonald’s build in Norwich. This is a temporary position with approximately 9 weeks of work, with the potential for extension depending on performance and future workload.
Project Type: New build commercial unit with civil engineering elements
Location: Norwich
Duration: Approx. 9 weeks (with potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Competitive day rate (based on experience and equipment provision)
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, and structural elements
* Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and the design team
* Maintaining accurate records and QA documentation
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications and programme
* Supporting site safety, quality, and compliance
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or commercial new build projects
* Proficient in use of surveying equipment and setting out techniques
* Ideally able to provide own equipment (not essential, but preferred and will be reflected in rate)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction
* CSCS card required
