Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Plasma Cell Disorders Service within the Haematology Service at King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill). The team is committed to the delivery of high quality and innovative care, working with the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care. The Plasma Cell Disorders Service is research-focused, running a comprehensive portfolio of trials including bispecific antibodies and CAR‑T cell therapy. You would be expected to contribute to teaching and training opportunities.
Main duties
* Subspecialty clinical advice to colleagues in Primary Care and to haematology specialists as part of a regional MDT.
* Inpatient and outpatient management including bispecific antibodies and cellular therapies.
* Inpatient attending and on‑call service.
* Contribution to clinical trial delivery, leadership and development.
* Sustaining and developing teaching and research in conjunction with KCL/KHP.
* Maintenance of standards for transplant and cellular therapies as per accrediting and regulatory bodies.
* Clinical supervision of junior medical staff.
* Contribution to audit programmes, morbidity & mortality and learning from deaths.
* Exercise professional leadership for all staff working in the specialty.
* Lead and contribute to initiatives to provide innovative care.

Essential qualifications and experience
* Registerable medical qualification; Full MRCP.
* Full registration with GMC; Specialist register on date of appointment.
* Wide experience in plasma cell disorders; certificate of completion.
* Experience organising day‑to‑day service in a busy teaching hospital.
* Leadership within multidisciplinary teams.
* Audit and quality improvement experience.
* Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience.
Desirable qualifications and experience
* Higher degree or diploma (e.g., MD).
* Management qualification or course.
* Research experience in plasma cell disorders.
* Teaching skills course/qualification.
