HAYWARD HAWK is delighted to be working with a locally established Managed Service Provider (MSP) to recruit an experienced IT Support Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing technical team supporting a wide range of clients across Northern Ireland. The Role: As an IT Support Engineer, youll be a key escalation point for technical issues across 2nd and 3rd line support. This role is ideal for someone with strong Microsoft 365 administration skills, solid networking experience, and a desire to grow into a future team leadership position. The Duties: Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support across a wide range of client environments. Manage Microsoft 365 tenant services: Intune, SharePoint, Security & Compliance Centres. Install, configure, and support both Windows and macOS desktops. Troubleshoot networking issues including VPNs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs. Support endpoint security tools, backup platforms, and email filtering systems. Carry out user onboarding/offboarding and manage Active Directory/Azure AD. The Person: You will have: At least 2 years of experience in an MSP environment (Level 2/3 support). Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, Defender). Strong desktop OS experience (Windows & macOS). Sound networking knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites. Desirable: Microsoft certifications (or an interest in pursuing them fully funded). Experience with EDR, MFA, mail filtering, backup solutions, and Autotask tools.
