Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Associate to support our growing portfolio in the toiletries and perfume industry. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in beauty, fragrance, and wellness trends, and a strong ability to translate consumer insights into compelling product offerings and draw useful insights from sales and market data.
You'll collaborate with teams across sales, design, and logistics to ensure a seamless go-to-market process.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Sales Director in managing relationships with domestic and international clients, including private label and B2B customers
• Assist in creating sales proposals and pitch decks tailored to retailers, distributors, and brand partners in the beauty and fragrance sector
• Analyze purchasing trends to recommend seasonal collections and fragrance innovations
• Respond to client inquiries, especially those related to private label opportunities, packaging customization, and formulation requirements
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular communication and product suggestions aligned with client needs
Basic Data Analysis & Reporting
• Use Excel to track and organize sales figures, product performance, and client order history
• Interpret data to identify top-performing SKUs, seasonal trends, and gaps in the product range
• Support in preparing monthly sales reports and product performance summaries for internal use
Product Development & Market Research
• Track trends across the fragrance, toiletries, and wellness space to identify gaps and opportunities for new products
• Coordinate with vendors to source innovative raw materials, packaging options, and fragrance samples
• Prepare and maintain mood boards, fragrance briefs, and product concept documents for internal teams
• Work with designers on packaging, branding, and label requirements for products
• Collaborate with production and regulatory teams to ensure formulations meet local and international compliance standards
Marketing & Brand Positioning
• Assist in the development of product storytelling and positioning aligned with market trends (e.g., clean beauty, sustainable packaging, gender-neutral fragrances)
• Help organize promotional materials, exhibition collateral, and digital assets for sales and trade shows
• Monitor competitor launches, pricing, and campaigns in the personal care and fragrance industry
Logistics & Order Coordination
• Coordinate client orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timelines and specifications are met
• Liaise with the operations team on shipping schedules, order status, and any delays or issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client communications, samples sent, and order details
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, preferably in beauty, toiletries, fragrance, or FMCG
• Familiarity with packaging, fragrance categories, and/or cosmetic product cycles is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable working with data in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, creating simple pivot tables or charts)
Key Skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret basic sales and market data
• Aesthetic and commercial sensibility for beauty and fragrance products
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to packaging, labelling, and compliance
• Passion for industry trends, fragrance storytelling, and innovation
