We are seeking a passionate individual who wants to help improve our operations to deliver even more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, helping to ensure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to bridging current and future business models and support the delivery of the business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to achieve fit-for-purpose solutions. Collaboration and effective communication with all stakeholders are essential to support design, build, and delivery that meet user needs, working alongside project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
Senior BAs will take a lead role in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements in the Business Analysis Service, acting as technical leads, supporting colleagues, and helping to scope work we commission.

The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting various critical change and improvement initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities, resources, and informed decision-making, contributing to better places for people and wildlife and supporting sustainable development.

Experience/skills Required
* Leadership: Strong skills guiding colleagues, leading projects, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify opportunities for informed decisions.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects quickly to support business needs.
* Experience working in an Agile environment or with the Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and sharing expertise.
