This broad Spectrum School is a vibrant and inclusive SEN provision in Rugby, dedicated to supporting children and young people across the autism spectrum and with a range of complex needs. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team from September.
About the RoleAs a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils learning, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. Working closely with class teachers and the wider support team, you will help deliver tailored educational programmes and create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with autism and other SEN in both group and one to one settings
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated activities
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and progress tracking
* Foster independence and life skills through structured routines
* Collaborate with therapists, families, and external agencies
Requirements
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly autism
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
