GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist setting in Sheffield. This is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with a range of special educational needs and who thrives in a small, structured, and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher: Deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEN. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs). Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families. Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Requirements for the SEN Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties. Excellent behaviour management and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships.
