CNC Miller Birmingham Contract - 3 months minimum with prospect of extension to 6 months Nights - 48 hours per week, 4 days per week EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in Birmingham. Our client is a well established advanced manufacturing business that specialises in machining small, sub assembly components for high-profile, leading organisations within the aerospace industry. As part of the companies growth strategy, they are looking to bring onboard a skilled CNC Miller to work on their night shift, to help increase output and add further expertise. Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. Key Benefits on offer: * £27 - £33 per hour (inside IR35) depending on experience * 48 hours per week, 4 days per week * Shift: Nights * Contract: Initially 3 months, with possible extension to 6 months Your responsibilities include: * Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls * Machine complex components for predominantly the aerospace industry * Work to tight tolerances using engineering drawings and specifications * Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met * Perform machine maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives * Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimise workflow and efficiency Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: * Minimum of 2 years experience programming, setting and operating multi axis CNC Milling machines using Heidenhain controls * Worked on 5 axis Milling machines * Ability to interpret engineering drawings * Previous experience of machining metallic complex components, ideally within aerospace If you are interested in the opportunity of CNC Miller above and believe you meet the illustrated criteria, apply today to join our clients’ growing Machining department located in Birmingham.
