What we are looking for:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Equalitas team. Our teacher training programmes are expanding, driven by purposeful partnerships and a strong moral imperative to improve outcomes for every child. We are now looking for an Admissions Officer to join our admissions team.
In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and identifying high quality candidates and supporting them through the process of application to qualification. You will play a key part in transforming the education sector and supporting career progression. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, schools and settings and will be responsible for seeing the candidate from application to qualification. You will build effective relationships and attend recruitment events.

Key Responsibilities:
* Identify suitable, high-quality candidates for our programmes
* Work as a team player to proactively engage and steward potential trainees through various channels such an internal application processes and DfE apply.
* Create leads and facilitate meetings with schools, settings and candidates that have an impact on the overall number of trainees enrolled onto our programmes.
* Represent the organisation at events demonstrating our core values.
* Contribute to strategies that ensure diverse and inclusive recruitment, encouraging applicants from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue their career.
* Support the handling of in-bound queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with the marketing manager to support successful marketing campaigns.
* Support cross-programme operations and cross-team programme delivery through proactive collaboration.
* Delivering excellent service to our schools and candidates leading to strong partnerships
* Active candidate management and maintaining clear communication with candidates across the recruitment cycle using data management systems such as Salesforce.
* Guide applicants through the application and interview process, providing tailored advice on eligibility and course options.
* Develop and maintain effective working partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Attentively listen to educational settings and candidates to support positive recruitment, which in turn supports the sector.
* Act as the first point of contact for prospective applicants, providing accurate and inspiring information about all courses offered.
* Attend appropriate training relevant to the role.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality applicants for all courses.
* Proactively engage with the whole admissions process from candidate initial engagement to programme completion.
* Support compliance through proactive engagement with candidate document checks and eligibility requirements.
* Accurate data management and precise reporting
* Track admissions data and report regularly on progress toward admissions targets providing weekly data to a range of internal stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of all candidates, sharing information across teams to promote success.

Essential
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisation and administrative skills with proficient use of IT.
* Proficient time management skills including the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.
