Band 6/7 Physiotherapist - Acute Hospital

Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Role Overview
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking an experienced Band 6 or 7 Physiotherapist to support their acute hospital services on a short-term locum basis.
This position requires a confident clinician with strong acute rehabilitation and discharge planning experience, able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment within an acute hospital setting
* Support patients through acute rehabilitation pathways to promote safe and effective recovery
* Contribute to complex discharge planning and ensure timely patient flow
* Work closely with the MDT, including Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and Social Workers
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Essential Requirements
* HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
* Experience working at Band 6 or 7 level within an acute NHS hospital
* Broad clinical skills across acute rehab and discharge pathways
* Able to work independently and adapt within a busy hospital environment
* Fully compliant with NHS agency standards prior to submission

Parking:
There is no onsite parking available, except for unsocial hours. Public transport is encouraged.
