Working Style

This is a hybrid working role; you’ll be based in the Borough 60% of the week, collaborating across services to improve how data supports residents and community outcomes. Whether you’re on the frontline or behind the scenes, you’ll be part of a dedicated, forward-thinking team making a measurable difference.


What you'll be doing

* This is a newly created, high impact role that blends technical skill, governance expertise, and strategic influence.
* Act as the Council’s authority on CRM data quality and compliance, maintaining the integrity of our complex, high-volume resident and service datasets.
* Build a culture of data quality and accountability across the organisation, designing and delivering training, guidance, and practical support to embed consistent, ethical, and transparent data practices at every level of the Council.
* Lead data analysis and quality assurance, producing insightful and actionable reports and insights that help senior leaders make informed, evidence-based decisions.
* Analyse complex datasets to spot trends, identify service gaps, and make evidence-led recommendations that improve how we serve residents.
* Define and enforce CRM data standards, oversee regular compliance checks and audits, and design automated data‑quality and validation processes.
* Collaborate with the Digital Development and Technology (DD&T) team on system upgrades, migrations, and CRM enhancements, including smarter data cleansing tools and Power BI dashboards.


What you'll bring

* Analytical and technically skilled professional with proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI, and ability to manage large, complex datasets with precision and confidence.
* Strong understanding of database design, system architecture, data models, GDPR, data protection, and corporate governance requirements.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Commitment to accuracy, clarity, consistency, and a proactive approach to spotting risks and proposing improvements.
* Collaborative mindset, capable of building trust and guiding colleagues at all levels to adopt better data practices.
