Job overview
The Emergency Medicine directorate is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join the senior team on the AEC (Ambulatory Emergency Care) at the Royal Stoke. The AEC is a busy Medical SDEC (Same day emergency care) area that is part of the Acute Medical team, and we have a workforce model focused on providing safe and effective patient care, and leadership and development of the nursing team.

You will be offered excellent training and support within this post
In this post you will be responsible for the initial assessment of patients and providing an effective care pathway and also taking charge of the unit managing the referrals, admissions and transfers of patients appropriately. We are committed to developing a culture in line with our values that improves quality and enhances the patient experience, and you will play a vital part in developing new ways of working to achieve this goal.

* Diploma in Nursing
* Evidence of degree level study in health/nursing related studies
