What you will be doing:
1. Lead, manage and mentor the Windows Team, developing individual capability and building a strong SME structure.
2. Support project delivery, including solution design, estimation, detailed design and implementation activities.
3. Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs, including resolving or escalating issues where appropriate.
4. Produce and maintain operational and user documentation to ensure standards and consistency are met.
5. Work with Architects, Solution Designers and Project Managers to validate solutions, provide recommendations and report progress.
6. Contribute to pre-sales activity and ensure all team outputs are fully documented in line with governance standards.
What you will bring:
7. Expert knowledge of Windows and infrastructure technologies, including current best practice and future developments.
8. Strong enterprise infrastructure experience, including administration, fault finding, diagnosis and resolution.
9. Technical knowledge across key infrastructure areas such as file and print, thin client environments, messaging, virtualisation and hardware.
10. Proven experience of leading infrastructure projects using recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
11. Experience of working to demanding SLAs within a strong governance and compliance framework.
12. Extensive infrastructure management experience, supported by a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
