Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Location: Chester le Street; Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rotation; Salary: £50,000
About the Company: Join a leading specialist manufacturing company renowned for innovation and quality. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our high-performing team and ensure smooth operation of our advanced production facilities.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
* Diagnose and repair faults quickly to minimize downtime.
* Perform PLC fault finding (ideally Siemens, but experience with any PLC systems is valuable).
* Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain high safety and operational standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements
* Time-served electrician with an electrical bias.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work under pressure.
* PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens preferred, but other platforms considered).
* Ability to work effectively on a 4 on / 4 off shift rotation.
