Our client is an established and well-respected engineering business. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting a Technical Support Supervisor to join their team and provide accurate technical advice or support to internal and external customers regarding their products and relevant regulations.
Technical Support Supervisor Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and support the Technical Support Team, seeking continuous improvement.
2. Support internal and external customers with technical queries.
3. Advise on product selection, specification, operation, installation, and maintenance.
4. Log faults and complaints, troubleshoot, identify common issues, and escalate for investigation.
5. Suggest solutions and technical improvements.
6. Provide product training to internal and external teams.
7. Collaborate with R&D to resolve issues with new products.
8. Stay updated on building regulations, legislation, and technical standards.
Candidate Requirements
1. Ability to support, motivate, and lead a team.
2. Strong communication skills and excellent customer service experience.
3. Technical and engineering mindset, comfortable with problem solving and fault finding.
4. Focus on quality and efficiency in task delivery.
5. Organized and diligent in maintaining data and records.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £30,000 - £34,000 plus benefits. The role is based at our client's office in Harrogate.
