Overview
Health and Safety Manager – Location: Leicester – Salary: Circa £40k - £50k. A local engineering company which supplies and installs specialist equipment to both commercial and domestic customers now requires a health and safety manager to join their team. The company is accredited with ISO 9001 and aims to progress and gain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Responsibilities
* Office based role managing the health and safety of over 60 remote workers (field service engineers)
* Maintain and update the HSE Policies and Procedures
* Undertake Health & Safety training and inductions
* Undertake Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
* Work with the Compliance and Operations manager to maintain the ISO 9001 accreditation
* Undertake Toolbox talks
Person Requirements
* From the Engineering Industry as a Health and Safety Manager
* Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health and Safety
* Member of IOSH
* Experienced in managing ISO 9001 internal audits
* Experience of managing loan workers (ideally engineers)
* Hands on and engaging approach to health and safety
