About this role
As Data Warehouse Engineer within the Data Warehouse Team within the Central Data & Analytics department you will be focussing on building the data models to support timely decision making.
Just Eat Takeaway.com has multiple systems with data, the goal is to create a simplified and consistent view on specific metrics over all countries. This will enable the analytical teams and stakeholders to perform analysis over all markets without rebuilding the methodology.
You are that spider in the web as you know the source models and the context of the Data Warehouse Team very well and understand possible data quality challenges, which you are able to solve in an automated and continuous manner. You are that conditional ingredient to make this happen!
You work with the other members in the analytics teams of the JET organisation, which is set up in a hub and spoke model with teams within the various functions to ensure local agility but with a central governance setup from the central analytics organisation.

* Build rock solid data models
* Understand the analytics context you are work in to the fullest detail
* Being Key enabler for all your stakeholders
* Train fellow team members and new colleagues on the usage of the various data & analytics tools available
What will you bring to the table?
* 3+ experience as in DWH Developer or a related role
* Thorough understanding of Kimball and Snowflake models
* SQL is your first language :-)
* You know DBT, Spark SQL, Bigquery and Git
* A natural collaborator with excellent communication skills
* Able to translate business requirements/requests into a technical approach
* A proactive, data-driven and logical mindset
* Fluent English language skills (written & spoken)
