Land & Measured Building SurveyorReading£30,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Land & Measured Building Surveyor to join a well-established surveying consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of construction, infrastructure and development projects throughout the Thames Valley and surrounding regions.This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of topographical, measured building and setting out surveys using the latest surveying technology. You will be joining a highly respected surveying team with excellent opportunities for career progression, training and professional development.The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with a strong mix of site and office-based processing work, alongside the chance to mentor junior surveyors and contribute to complex multi-disciplinary projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor looking to develop their long-term career within a progressive and supportive surveying environment. Full support will be provided towards professional development and industry accreditation.The RoleAs a Land & Measured Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Carrying out topographical and measured building surveysWorking independently on small to large-scale surveying projectsProducing accurate survey data using modern surveying equipment and softwareProcessing survey data and preparing detailed drawings and deliverablesSupporting and mentoring trainee and junior surveyors on siteEnsuring all work is delivered safely, accurately and within project timescalesRequirementsTo be considered for this role, you should have:2+ years UK Land Surveying experienceExperience carrying out topographical surveys independentlyExperience undertaking measured building surveysKnowledge of laser scanning and traditional surveying methodsExperience processing survey data and producing CAD outputsCompetent use of modern surveying equipment and softwareStrong communication and organisational skillsA full UK driving licenceThe right to work in the UKBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany vehicleOvertime opportunitiesCompany sick payLife assuranceFlexible working hoursEmployee wellbeing support programmeLong service awardsProfessional training and developmentSupport towards professional accreditation24 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with serviceHow to ApplyMGR Recruitment is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
