We are looking for an Engineer to join our Transport Engineering team based in Manchester.
The role
We will provide you with training and development to assist with the creation of Transport Engineering and Infrastructure solutions for various sectors within our Built Environment Team.
You will have the following duties:
* Assisting Project Managers on projects in sectors such as residential, retail, power, commercial, and industrial across the UK and internationally.
* Working as part of a design team, reporting to a senior engineer, and assisting with technical designs.
* Developing design knowledge and skills using specialist software.
* Site supervision of construction projects and record keeping.
* Assisting with the compilation of design and construction tender packages.
* Assisting with report compilation.
Due to the training nature of the role, it is expected that you will typically work from the office, but hybrid working is possible.
We support engineers in obtaining professional qualifications and have a support network to help individuals become Incorporated or Chartered with relevant institutions such as ICE or CIHT.

About you
You should have a relevant degree in Civil Engineering and experience in highway engineering. A full UK driving licence is required.
Key attributes include:
* Understanding of DMRB or Manual for Streets
* Experience supporting highway project design and delivery
* Ability to work independently with good organizational skills
* Strong numeracy, IT, and communication skills
* Willingness to learn and manage multiple projects
