Teaching Personnel is recruiting for an Inclusion Support Assistantto join a Tameside secondary schoolin September 2025, working with pupils who are at risk of exclusion or in transition between mainstream and alternative provision.
Role Highlights:
* Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils displaying SEMH or behavioural needs
* Support reintegration plans for pupils returning from alternative provision
* Collaborate with the SENCO and Pastoral Teams to implement behaviour strategies
* Build trust-based relationships that promote attendance, engagement, and resilience
Ideal Background:
* Experience in inclusion, pastoral care, youth work, or SEN settings
* Calm, patient and confident in dealing with challenging situations
* Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches is beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
