As an Area Specification Manager / Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing multi-discipline capabilities with specifiers within the Social Housing Sector and New Build Developers, Electrical Contractors and Installers with the Domestic Electrical Market and supply chain management.


Your mission as an Area Specification Manager / Sales Manage: Drive Sales & Build Lasting Relationships.

Key responsibilities:

1. Powering Sales – Grow business through the Electrical Wholesale Channel in your designated area.

2. Strategic Planning – Create and manage an annual business plan for each account to ensure growth.

3. Spotting Opportunities – Proactively identify new business avenues to boost sales and expand reach.

4. Industry Expert – Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring Kidde Safety seizes every opportunity and maximizes cross-selling potential.

5. Product Champion – Ensure Kidde Safety products receive the attention they deserve, driving engagement and sales.

6. Networking & Client Visits – Maximize networking opportunities, maintain regular customer visits, and strengthen business relationships.

7. Key Partnerships – Build strong relationships with key account customers, the Social Housing Sector, installers, and electrical contractors.

8. Training & Knowledge Sharing – Deliver installer and contractor training on the latest British Standards and installation best practices.

9. Brand Ambassador – Represent Kidde Safety with professionalism, confidence, and expertise at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

10. Sales Expertise – Previous experience in a similar sales role.

11. Industry Know-How – Knowledge of the Electrical Distribution market or a related field (preferred).

12. Love for Travel – This role will keep you on the move!

13. Go-Getter Attitude – A dynamic, results-driven self-starter who thrives on challenges.

14. Independence & Ownership – You’re great at working autonomously and managing your time effectively.

15. People Skills – Building strong relationships at all levels comes naturally to you.

16. Communication Pro – Excellent presentation and communication skills to win over clients.

17. UK Driving License – Because great opportunities are waiting for you on the road!
