* Part time position worked on a rota basis
* Seasonal 2nd April – 1st November 2026
* Salary is 13.05 per hour (pro-rata) for 20 hours/week and 30 weeks per year.
* Flexible approach to the working week as we are open 7 days a week and bank holidays.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
* Taking money or card payment for parking on our beaches.
* Clear and effective communication with the public and colleagues to deliver safety messages and ensure smooth operations.
* The ramp onto the beach(s) is in good repair and ready for the days vehicles and ensuring the safe parking of cars etc and enforcing parking restrictions on the Berrow/Brean Beach.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
* Have good communication skills.
* Have the ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
* Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
