Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
Clinical Support Worker
The closing date is 17 June 2026
At Castle Hill, our Radiology team is proud to offer a growing non-vascular interventional service that supports patients across the Trust. We work Monday to Friday, 8:00-18:00, and provide a 24-hour urgent on-call service to ensure patients receive the care they need, whenever they need it.
We're looking for a Clinical Support Worker who genuinely cares about people. Someone who brings kindness, reliability, and a team-focused attitude to their work. In this role, you'll be supporting patients during what can often be a worrying time, helping to make their experience as positive and reassuring as possible.
You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team where good communication, flexibility, and a willingness to get involved make all the difference. Alongside patient care, you'll help keep our environment safe and welcoming, and you'll order stock using the Trust's system to ensure the service runs smoothly.
If you're compassionate, organised, and motivated by making a real difference to people's lives, we'd love to meet you. An informal visit or conversation is strongly encouraged – it's the best way to get a feel for the team and the work we do.
Main duties of the job
You'll play an important part in supporting our registered nurses as they deliver hands‑on care to patients undergoing non‑vascular interventional procedures. You'll be there for patients throughout their journey – before, during, and after their procedure – helping them feel safe, informed, and supported. This includes assisting with patient transfers between Radiology and other areas of the hospital, ensuring everyone moves smoothly and comfortably through their care pathway.
Your role will also include essential clerical and housekeeping responsibilities. You'll use Trust systems to help keep our records accurate, and you'll take ownership of stock management to make sure supplies are ordered and maintained so the service can run without interruption.
