We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
* Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines
* Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines
* Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
* Identifying improvements to machinery and processes
* Working closely with the maintenance and production teams
Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
* Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
* Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
* A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
* Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
