JOB TITLE: Credit Control Manager
LOCATION: Exeter
SALARY: £37, per annum
HOURS: 37.5 hoursMonday-Friday

THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Control Manager with proven leadership skills to join their team. As the Credit Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the department, helping to shape and implement the company's credit control strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop, implement, and manage credit control policies and procedures
2. Assess and evaluate new and existing customers credit applications
3. Monitor and manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
5. Provide accurate and timely reporting on credit control activities
6. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimise cash flow
7. Stay updated with industry regulations and best practises
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to credit control team, workload monitoring championing development, and continuous skill and career advancement
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
9. Proven experience in credit control management
10. Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control processes
11. Strong leadership and people management skills
12. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
13. Proficient IT user
14. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
15. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
16. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
17. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
18. Results-driven with a proactive approach to achieving targets
19. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
20. Excellent time management and organisational skills
