Title: Quality Engineer / Technician - Manufacturing
Location: Lancashire
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products
* Develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs)
* Identify, document, and investigate non-conformances and quality issues
* Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and health & safety requirements
* Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
* Assist with internal and external audits
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001) and inspection techniques
* Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges)
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant technical qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred)
