KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 & 2)
Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire, NW London
Start Date: September 2025
Job Type: Full Time, Long term, Term-to-Perm
Salary: £185 - £285 per day
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
2. Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive
3. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed
4. Work collaboratively with TAs, SENCOs, and leadership teams
5. Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Recent experience teaching KS1 in a UK primary setting
8. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes
9. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
