Our client is a successful, privately owned IT company based in the Worthing area. They have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking IT Technician to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress within a successful, well established company offering continued training and development. The role will involve a combination of on-site client work (mainly within East and West Sussex), and being based at the company’s offices. A company car and mobile phone are provided with this position.
As an IT Technician you will be supporting clients through our helpdesk, as well as visiting clients to resolve issues etc. Therefore you will need build reputable relationships with clients, mainly using Windows 2012/2016
For this IT Technician position:
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience and knowledge in using the following:
1. Server OS & Desktop OS
2. Networking – DHCP & DNS, Group Policy & AD
3. PC Diagnostics & Fix
4. Knowledge on Microsoft Exchange, Apple, Android, Virtualisation an advantage.
5. To be able to work independently, with initiative.
6. To be able to set priorities and manage time effectively.
7. To be able to relate well to clients in a friendly and positive manner.
8. To be able to carry out several ongoing tasks simultaneously.
Please be prepared to discuss previous knowledge and experience of these areas at interview.
You must have a great knowledge and passion for technology keeping up to date with all new systems ensuring you have the best available knowledge for the job.
You will be friendly but professional in your approach and be confident to build strong relationships with clients.
You will work well as an individual, but also required to work with other IT Technicians when required so must be able to work well in a team.
You will have great attention to detail and be able to manage your time effectively working well under pressure.
You must have Full, UK Driving Licence
For this position a full DBS check will be carried out due to the nature of the clients you will be working with.
IT Technician package:
circa £22,000-£26,500 depending on experience
