Role Overview We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join our client's team, specializing in ductwork projects. The ideal candidate will have solid AutoCAD experience and a deep understanding of the HVAC/ductwork industry. This is a dynamic role involving both office-based design work and occasional site visits for surveys and project coordination. Key Responsibilities Conduct site surveys to gather necessary measurements and information Create detailed manufacturing and installation drawings using AutoCAD Manage the day-to-day running of multiple projects from start to finish Liaise with suppliers to place material orders and ensure timely deliveries Communicate effectively with site staff and project managers to ensure smooth execution Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors as needed Requirements Proven experience in the ductwork or HVAC industry Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Flexibility to visit sites as required (though predominantly office-based) Industry knowledge is more important than formal qualifications What We Offer Competitive salary (circa £50K, dependent on experience) A flexible and supportive working environment Opportunity to work on a variety of prestigious and rewarding projects.
