Position: Mechanical Draughtsperson
Location: Castle Donington - 3 Days On site
The Role
This is a contract role expected to last between 6 - 12 months with the successful candidate working to trouble shoot and refine an existing complex drawing library using NX. This will involve checking and correcting GD&T data, team centre structure and validity of BOM information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings.
* Collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and efficient models.
* Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
* Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs.
* Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation.
Qualifications:
* HNC or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
* Proficiency in NX software.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
* High level of accuracy in drawings and documentation
* Ability to spot and correct errors in technical plans
* Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as a self-starter.
