We are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our metallic components through inspection and validation processes.
Job Responsibilities
* Inspect and validate metallic components to ensure they meet our quality standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address any quality control issues.
* Develop and maintain expertise in industry-standard inspection techniques to optimize workflow efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and product performance data.
* Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure seamless collaboration.
Required Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated expertise in machining processes and familiarity with PC-DMIS and Polyworks Metrology Suites.
* Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings with accuracy.
* Knowledge of CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), Absolute Arms, Shadowgraphs, Contour Tracers, and handheld measurement equipment.
* Experience with MRP/ERP systems like IFS, SAP, or similar is advantageous.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
