This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, supporting a small class of pupils with moderate to severe needs. The position is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development and well-being of children who need it most. Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of learning and developmental needs. Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment. Support with personal care, communication, behaviour, and engagement strategies as required. Help with lesson preparation, classroom resources, and ongoing assessments. Encourage pupils to develop independence and build confidence both academically and socially. Requirements: MUST hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential. Experience working with children with special educational needs (moderate to severe needs). Patience, empathy, and a calm, positive approach to challenges. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
