ASAP Starts Available | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants and Behaviour Support Assistants to work within one specialist SEN or Alternative Provision school on a long-term basis in either Wigan or Bolton.
These are long-term roles based within one school setting, allowing staff to build strong relationships with students and become part of the wider school team, with temp-to-perm opportunities available.
The Role
You will support pupils with:
* Autism (ASD)
* SEMH needs
* ADHD
* Challenging behaviour
* Learning difficulties
* Trauma-related needs
Responsibilities include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management
* Assisting the class teacher throughout the school day
* Building positive and consistent relationships with students
* Encouraging engagement, attendance, and participation
* Supporting both academic and emotional development
We Are Looking For
* Experience working with children or vulnerable young people
* A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
Experience from education, youth work, residential care, support work, or mental health settings is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
