We're looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our dynamic and welcoming team as a Painter/Decorator. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills within a supportive, fast-paced workshop environment.
Position Details:
* Job Type: Full-time, permanent
* Hours: 42 hours per week
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm
* Salary: £12–£14 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
* Start Date: Immediate start available
* Remote Work: No
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces by repairing imperfections
* Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, and finishes to various surfaces
* Provide decorative or faux finishes as required by the project
* Plan and execute prep work efficiently to meet production deadlines
What We're Looking For:
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Good attention to detail and a pride in high-quality results
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Previous painting or finishing experience is preferred, but not essential – we're happy to train the right person
